Hello,
Who uses effect addition things? Which are your favorite kinds? And not just paint, other things, too. I'm talking about paints and other supplies, in traditional art, that aren't necessarily meant to blend in seamlessly with the painted/drawn part of the picture (e.g. the character and background), but are meant to stand out, for effect. Sometimes abstract (like a frame, or non-representational background), sometimes magical (like painting a magical glow in metallic or pearl paint).
What are some good examples that you've seen of this sort of thing? How do you use it? I love this sort of thing, but sometimes it feels awkward, since I'm making things just to scan... I'd love to make these and mail them to people, though...
